Neither the US nor the EU, least of all France under President Sarkozy, seems bold enough to challenge Israel's aggressive refusal to stop grabbing Palestinian land, or to allow more aid for reconstruction in GazaIsraeli police surrounded the French cultural centre in Jerusalem in December last year.
