Three Aid Workers Killed in Afghan Attack
Three Western women working for an aid group and one of their Afghan drivers were shot and killed on Wednesday in Logar province in eastern Afghanistan as they were traveling toward Kabul, local officials and the aid group said. Another Afghan driver was critically wounded, the aid group said The provincial governor, Abdullah Wardak, said the aid workers "were killed as they were under fire by unknown gunmen."
